Our mission is to create and implement programs dedicated to the development of skilled and certified workers for in-demand industries through comprehensive skills training, career development, and consistent supportive services to change and advance the socio-economic landscape for at-risk workers.

Skills Training

Our technical center provides comprehensive skills training courses to help train the next generation of skilled workers.  Our hands-on training approach prepares our students for success in the field of their choice.

Job Readiness

Our job readiness program provides the support and education needed for newly graduated students to perform at their optimal level.  In preparation for hire, each student will be introduced to the soft skills necessary to not only obtain employment but to maintain a steady work history.

Job Placement

Our staff maintains consistent relationships with local employers to provide an avenue for our students to gain employment upon graduation.  Every effort is taken to ensure our students have the right opportunities and connections to secure gainful employment.

A Changing Workforce Landscape

There is much conversation around vocational training versus the traditional college path.  A typical college education requires students to commit 2-10 years of your life to gain the knowledge for preparation into the workforce.  In contrast, vocational and technical training provides short term course schedules ranging from 6-weeks to 20-weeks for completion.  This provides for a more rapid introduction into the workforce with skills that will set them apart from non-skilled workers.  With the inclusion of job readiness and placement assistance our students are equipped to  be highly competitive and heavily recruited.
